Final Fantasy XIII deals to pounce on at Target and Amazon
Mar/100

After you heard what we had to say about Final Fantasy XIII, you may very well now be itching to finally get your own hands all over the thirteenth entry in the FF series from Square Enix. Lucky for you, dearest reader, we’ve got news of a couple ways to save some dough on your purchase this week.
Target is offering a $10 gift card with purchase of either the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 version, while Amazon is offering a $10 pre-order incentive credit towards future video game purchases for both versions as well (oh, and also, the game costs $56.99 instead of $59.99, which is kinda nice). Sure, neither offers a free rideable chocobo or anything wonderful like that, but that $10 at Target could potentially buy pizza bagels. And did you know that when pizza’s on a bagel, you can apparently eat pizza at any time? Madness!

Amazon and Gamefly agree: Singularity out June 29
Mar/100
The upcoming Singularity from Raven Software is supposed to give you the power to age objects just by gesturing at them, and it appears that ability is being tested on the game itself: Its release date has been slowly edging into the future, from early 2010 up into March and then on to June. But it seems like the timeshifting has finally come to an end, as both Amazon and Gamefly have listed the game as releasing on June 29th of this year.
Activision originally cited the delay as an attempt to keep the game away from a crowded slate of “competitive titles,” so perhaps the game will do better kicking off the dog days of summer. If Raven’s time-bending twist on the FPS captures your interest, it’ll be one more good reason to stay out of that hot, hot summer sun.
[Thanks, Shagittarius]
